Consulting Editor Helen Whybrow is a freelance writer and editor, and Editor at Large for Orion Magazine. For many years she was the publisher and editor-in-chief of Countryman Press, an imprint of W. W. Norton. She is the editor of the anthology Dead Reckoning: Great Adventure Writing 1800–1900 and author of the biography A Man Apart: Bill Coperthwaite’s Radical Experiment in Living. She lives in Vermont, where she and her family run an organic farm and a retreat center for social justice activists.
